Ride

There was talk of cancelling today's ride in respect of Richard but it was decided to go ahead. A thoughtful ride for us all as I am sure riders did as I did and thought how lucky I was to be out on my bike.

The last ride of the decade, a long one 65 miles. A beautiful day and few roads we had not been before. Here is the old air strip which is now park of a solar and wind power station. We had a herd of deer run out in front of us and Mr PB damaged derailleur hanger and broke his derailleur. This meant he had to cycle home in a strange fixed gear. Great ride though
