"...we go together..."
After a rushed catch-up (though only in release order, without a re-watch of IV-VI between the prequels and sequels) the small one was ready to finally catch one at a cinema. Fortunately the version of the Bond trailers was slightly cut-down from the version I saw at an earlier, later screening. Generally, based on amounts of fidgeting and so on the instalments of the sequel trilogy appear to hold a sample child's attention more than the prequels. There were questions aftwards but there were questions after IV and V. One day they'll both understand how long the gap was between 1983 and 1999, what it means to be disappointed, how long the gap between 1983 and 2015 is and all the other stuff which will hopefully explain why we bang on about film preference order and why IV and V will always be the best of the canonical nine.
