The Final Melt
We've just endured the worst cold snap since 1971. Today is the final day. Back towards early Spring-like temps tomorrow (close to 70/35).
I had allergy testing this morning and an appointment in the afternoon but I haven't been sleeping and the oddest thing about that is that you lose all track of time so I run late for everything.
Strangely, I got upset at the results of the testing which showed I was allergic to only one tree (Oak), Sagebrush, and two molds. That was it. No real other tree or grass pollens that would explain the terrible seasonable attacks I get when I open the windows in Spring or Fall..
Something was wrong with that test. Two years ago, that very testing showed I was allergic to a bazzillion things. I actually cried when she gave me the results because they were so insignifigant I doubt the doctor is going to tell me to do anything different than what I already do every day.
I've had severe allergies my entire life. It was depressing. I guess I'll just wait and see what he says.
I took this photo today because the mountains always lift my spirits. The snow is just about gone. I tried to get both the mountains and the bush in the foreground both in focus. This was as close as I got.
Of course, with my blurry vision, I can't tell how in focus either of them are, so maybe you can tell me how close I did get to achieving my goal.. I know I didn't quite catch it.
