American sports : strike two

After Sunday's Falcons game, tonight I went to see Atlanta's Basketball team, The Hawks. Amazed to see half the stadium empty, plus most fans turned up in the 2nd quarter and left during the 4th. Think it's the whole "total entertainment" thing where the game is just part of the experience. UK sport is trying to go the same way, but I'm not sure it's a great idea. Lets stick to the main event.
