Hartington Valley

As we're still on the early morning feed and antibiotic administering for Livvie we decided not to go back to bed but to seize the day! We were walking by 8.45am.

We knew it was a good weather forecast so had planned a walk in The Peak District. We started at the village of Hartington and walked along Wolfscote Dale and then Biggin Dale back to Hartington. It was glorious!

This view was just outside Hartington looking back towards the village as we started the walk.

We had plenty of bird life along each dale with mallards, goosander, dippers and even a little crowd of long-tailed tits.
