The State Line

at Alpine.

       Kathy's father died after a protracted illness which is why Kathy's been spending every other month this past year to help care for him. We have his car and I drive it occasionally to keep the battery charged, everything working and the tyres round.

       Took a jaunt out to the state line just beyond Alpine. Arizona has new welcoming signs; New Mexico's (extra) is the same as ever sporting hatch chillis (not a ristra? or a zia?)
