Happy New Year 2020

I was hoping to get a beautiful red sunrise, instead I got a photo of a smoky sunrise.  The smoke is coming from the bush fires in Australia.  It has been smoky all day, the extras I took on my walk to Waterfall Creek.  (1)  At The Tree  (2)  That's Mt Iron  The experts think the smoke will hang around for the next week.  You can smell the smoke when you go outside.  The town is very quiet, hardly anyone out on their bikes or walking.

My daughter and I are going to spend the rest of the afternoon watching the DVD "Downton Abbey.  I hope I don't nod off!

I had a good night's sleep, but did hear the fireworks go off at midnight.
