Skyward

One of my Hollyhocks shooting up.

I haven’t altered the colours here.
We have had the strangest sky and light today. All the result of the smoke from the Australian fires drifting across to us here in New Zealand.
Feels very surreal.

I can’t begin to know how scary it must be for all of those in the midst of the fires.
To read that those at Mallacoota are having to resort to getting into boats and sitting out in the water to survive is unbelievable.
