Blooming anemones

When I bought a bunch of anemones the other day they looked a bit sad and I thought they would just give up and die in bud. Well, they have turned into the most beautiful blooms . I have tried to get close with my camera but this isn't really in focus. I am always amazed by the exquisite structure of flowers - so much potential in each stamen.
Its been a busy day making cups of hot chocolate and tea for Chris and brother in law who are erecting a greenhouse - reminded me of barn raising in Seven Brides For Seven Brothers but without the dancing. Nearly done now so the reward is a good old beef stew later. Stay warm everyone
