Natures fireworks

The Rainbow lorikeets are back and I think are a riot of colour.  More colourful than the fireworks last night.  A much cooler day today thank goodness.

On a more sobering note the news from the fires down south is horrific.  7 people dead and one missing, countless houses burned.  The red cross appeal has now raised $2 million.  It is so sad seeing the devastating effects of the fires.
