Party Animals

The day was spent mostly hanging around, Cousin James arrived and Helen went to pick up Margaret from the Park & Ride. Most of us had a pre-party nana nap (except nana, ironically) then got our glad rags on and headed down to the brewery for The Acclerants New Year Bash (except nana who we left at home with a bowl of pasta and a bar of chocolate). 
It was everything we thought it would be: loud, rowdy, beery etc...We had a great night, drinking, singing and dancing and even saw in the new year with a rousing chorus of Auld Lang Syne, accompanied by Matt W on the bagpipes (?). Alf did us all proud as usual, joining the band for a few songs in the second half.
A very late night for us all (except Nana who was tucked up in bed when we rolled home in the early hours) and a great way to start the new decade.
