2020 Here We Come!

After a great NYE spent with our closest friends, this morning was approached with caution!

Sorted tax and insurance for new car and then ventured out in an effort to become acquainted with the modern design. No key, no handbrake -yikes!

This afternoon the final pieces slotted together as we finalised plans for our adventure to Oz and NZ.
No one can accuse us of hanging around!
This time last week the trip was a pipe dream and now it’s all sorted

Using Air B and B we have secured some amazing deals both in far North Queensland, where we will stay for two weeks and in Sydney where we have a four night stopover.

So far removed from the grey drab winter’s day here

I still can’t quite believe that I’m going back to Australia again and alongside my excitement, my thoughts have been with all those effected by the continuing horrendous bush fires burning out of control in vast swathes of NSW and Victoria. Such devastation and sadness.
