And So Another Year Begins

I was convinced by Mary Sue to accompany her to Manteo to watch the fireworks and the boat light up with the new year. At first it wasn't too bad but the longer we were there, the colder I got. Finally, I found a little coffee shop that was selling hot chocolate. That warmed me up while I was drinking it but then I felt even colder. The biggest problem was we got there so early, we had to wait like five hours before the fireworks began and then they were over in 20 minutes. The fireworks were pretty and they had a live band playing music, so overall it ended up being a really festive start to 2020.
