Better late than never?
With M.’s hospital stay, we haven’t had any Christmas food, so today I decided to make some mince pies from a recipe I read in the Guardian.it encourages you to improvise with the mix, so I’ve added in some dried apricots, figs and cranberries and lots of cinnamon. Oh and I used sloe gin as the alcohol binding agent. Let’s see how they turn out.
