New Decade

Well, sort of. As with 2000, which was technically the last year of the 20th century, this is the last year of the 2nd decade of the 21st century. But still, it feels like a new decade!  I stand corrected! As there is no Year 0, this is the first year of the 202nd decade CE/AD. :-)

I was on a one-man mission to un-decorate the house today, and I'm glad to see it all back to normal. Everything safely back in the loft.

This is a detail from a miniature painting I picked up in India a few years back. It hangs above my desk and brings back nice memories.
