SNOW!!!

This is NOT a common occurrence here. Starkville came to a stand-still. Schools are closed (though not the university), trash is not picked up, we are all urged to not drive unless we have to. I am smirking a bit, but freely acknowledge that people here are not used to driving in snow and on ice and therefore more accidents could happen.

While the image above appears depressing and desolate, nothing could be further from my mood. I am so happy to see the white stuff!
