Happy New Year Again!

Finally got out for a walk after a couple of hours of miscellaneous new year's tidying. The ocean was spectacular. So were the crowds on the path: walkers, bicyclists, dogs, children on Christmas scooters, tourists, locals, gawkers of every stripe. The morning paper was rife with high surf warnings, which may have been a factor in bringing everyone out. Way too many folks standing on the wrong side of the red danger signs. 
We are safely back home for a quiet dinner and an episode of Mrs. Maisel, a nice start to the new year.
