Trusty boots

Muddy but lovely 7 mile walk to start the year.
Last yr I started out to do the 1000 mile challenge - I didn't manage it but it definitely restarted more regular walking which is doing me lots of good.
My trusty boots washed and ready for oiling before today's pootle.
Also we started another yr of counting the number of bird species we see. Really enjoyed it last year and hope to beat my total this year as I will be on holiday (hopefully) in some different habitat areas.
