JUST HAVING FUN!!!!

... called by the dam on the way home this morning and again another mild day with plenty of smoke again found this gentleman enjoying some fishing.

As I had taken this, out of a tree near him this Nankeen Night Heron takes off here and only just got a shot. Anyways, not be such a good shot decided to have some fun and hence the Blip.Well it is a "night Heron"!!

Then spotted the Egret busy catching some tucker.

The quieter weather has seen a terrible situation down South unfold. The Forces are using ships to evacuate people who were/are trapped on a beach, and they opened the main Highway to allow as many as can evacuate a number of holiday areas and towns who could well be effected on Saturday when the forecast is predicted to be even worse than the last couple of days.
It really is one of the worst fire seasons for many years - and has only just started, and still no forecast of any worthwhile rain to halt the progress of the massive fire fronts.

Also caught another Fire plane taking off in the smoky skies to do its work.
