Lunch in Corfe Castle

@Xtoph1 and Sarah took a house in Corfe Castle for Xmas week (someone in the office, Laura I think said, ‘Took a house in Corfe Castle? What are you Jane Austen?) and V, I, Mum, Dad Sue Jono, Eve and Seb joined them and Kit and Tom down there for lunch.  It was a cold clear sunny day at last and we took caviar which had been brought over by Suriya and Sarah made a delicious Venison pie. We had a terrific Secret Santa before walking up the castle juggling National Trust memberships to get in. .  It was stunning up there with the braziers lit and the castle all lit up too.  We walked up to the top and looked around the valley before back for tea.   The photo is the entire family coaching Jono in how to get Eve’s car out of the drive in front of the cottage but probably should have been one of the walk up the hill to castle.
