A late start after last night's festivities. And another lovely day, much of it spent with friends at Anne and Ken's New Year party.

Strange occurrence as we arrived home. MrM was looking up at the stars in a clear sky. "Must be my eyes", he said, "those stars look as if they're moving". I looked too - they were moving. A long line of 'stars', equidistant apart, moving quite quickly across the sky! I counted 40. An alien invasion?! We hurried indoors and consulted Mr Google. Apparently they're 60 satellites that are part of the Space-X Starlink project to provide accessible internet to everyone. They were launched in to orbit in November by Elon Musk's company SpaceX.
