Finished!

I finished this little baby cardigan this afternoon, it's for our nephew and his wife who are expecting their first baby at the end of February. It's a simple pattern and it knit up very quickly, matching booties are now on the needles.
Today's excitement was a message from a neighbour on our WhatsApp group asking if anyone could help move some furniture from her son's bedroom as they had a flood! Our water was off this morning and we think she had a burst pipe behind the shower in the en-suite. The water has flooded her son's bedroom and seeped through the ceiling into the lounge and utility room. She has been in touch with her insurance company and hopefully she will be able to get everything sorted soon. What a start to her new year :-(
