reflections of the decade

I got tp thinking about what the highlights of the last decade was. The idea was to choose 1 picture from each year . major fail.
2010 october was the highlight as we travelled 3 weeks across USA for our 40th wedding anniversary 
2011 we went to cyprus for a friends 3rd wedding ceremony . it was great as it was greek orthodox
2012 we did the tulip fields if holland where i fell in love with tulips and went to keukenhof flower festival. also it was the Queens Jubilee. that was the year my son kicked his daughter onto the streets too. went to a friends wedding on the isle of white and the hotel burnt down 6 weeks prior to the wedding. The olympic Flame was in the uk. and another friends wedding  which was local.
2013 we did the arctic circle tour with Great rail and went up in a vintage plane in Cornwall which was a christmas gift from my daughter. Had my first blip meet with things beautiful and 65daisies,it snowed in the January
2014 the tower poppies, Met Christie for the first time and the highlight was experiencing the Calgary chinook wind and cloud
2015 we did a Norwegian tour and the highlight was seeing the northern lights on a cloudy evening Went to Canada and watched the calgary stampede parade. Had an evening meal ion the Cornish Belle -bodmin and  wexford railway. a present from our daughter 
2016 we did an ALASKAN CRUISE. went to scotland and saw the kelpies  and my friend got married. she tragically lost her husband a few year before but found love again.
2017 we had a holiday in Spain with friends but the highlight was Matt getting married to Christie. That year he decided to start paramedic training
2018. The highlight was the birth of Abigale to Matt and Christie
2019 Alan brother got married after co-habiting for 20years. Matt and christie moved to Peace river where he was offered a permanent position as an EMT and started more school for his paramedic training. I had a stent fitted
It has really been a whirlwind of a decade. And when I look back lots of highlights too.
