T’s family

We set off and left my mum & dad at ours for a few days of peace to drive up to Blackpool to visit T’s family.

Not the best start when we discovered a huge nail embedded in one of the rear tyres. Luckily for a Sunday, a quick diversion via Abingdon found an open garage and a new tyre so we were back on the road again! Best journey ever and made it up there in just over 4 hours - traffic was v kind.

Quick freshen up at the hotel and then T’s Dad, brothers and families came for dinner altogether. It was lovely to see everyone and catch up and we had a mammoth present swapping session after eating which the children were delighted about of course! C was very happy with his Batman skateboard and Harry Potter Scrabble game lucky boy!
