Self Portrait

For the new year I want to try to become a little more active with the nearby photography club. I went to one meeting last summer and follow the facebook group. Every week they post  an optional assignment. For week 1 the assignment was to take a self portrait and tell a little about yourself.
This is my first attempt at a self portrait. I was having a heck of a time figuring out how to get a proper focus until I remembered that the new camera uses the Nikon snap bridge app. That was a real game changer.
It was pretty intimidating to be the one in front of the camera. Thank goodness for the luminance adjuster in LR. (full color in extras)
