Thistlehead in ice

Another beautiful sunny day. I got the octobus up to The Loons and sat in the hide for a while. The water was nearly all frozen so few ducks. Two different hen harriers flew threw, as did a merlin. After coffee, I walked along to The Choin and shot some ice. There were about two hundred curlew, lots of wigeon, redshanks etc. and a single jack snipe.
