1940 Chrysler Hot Rod (Lead Sled)

A bright spot in my day was a very tastefully executed Chrysler hot rod that stopped briefly at an intersection.
I believe this car started life in 1940 as a Chrysler "Royal" Coupe.
The very smooth, flowing lines of this car achieved by carefully filling all the seams with a filler material.
Back in the 1950's this material was soft lead metal masterfully melted onto the seam with an acetylene torch.
Lead Sled is the term applied to a hot rod with this body styling treatment.
