It stood the test of time

Which means it wasn’t knocked over by a feline friend unlike most of the Christmas cards.

This was made by a friend who retired some years ago (aluminium extrusion die manufacturer), I’m not sure why his new found hobby came into being, a number of reasons, he then started to make wooden toys for the grandchildren, puzzles and Christmas tree decorations.

This was a present from him when visiting a few weeks ago and imagine will appear each year, the hook on the staff is the most vulnerable part, the inserts could easily get lost if one of the scallywags finds it dislodged.
