closing down...

on the old year, but also on my throat!  I went out for a meal this evening (haven't felt great all day), and couldn't finish it which is unusual for me.  Came home and suddenly my throat was raging in pain and I could feel it swelling - thought it was an allergy.  Took some medication but it hasn't changed!  Hoping it will be gone in the morning.

Fireworks were going off all around for about 3 hours tonight - which is bearable if you are feeling well but when you feel miserable its not so great!  Bah humbug to the new year celebration for me but Happy New Year to all of you!!
