A splash of scarlet

Another very restful day. Quiet solitary quarry walk with my dogs, then back home to the chatter of daughters & their background music. They are currently in the kitchen together cooking a vegetarian Indian meal & chocolate brownies (all from their new Christmas cookery books "Modern Flexitarian" & "The Green Roasting Tin").
I'll continue with my book then :) I'm reading "Elizabeth is missing".
