I hope the owner returns soon!!

I called by the pond after shopping this afternoon and was surprised to see a bike "parked" on the frozen water. I wouldn't have thought that the ice would be strong enough to hold an adult weight!!

I took bread to feed the geese and ducks and almost caused a stampede when I produced it.

There were dozens of black-headed gulls (with winter plumage......so no black head).

The Canada geese are so tame and cheeky!! This one took a crust out of my hand before I had the chance to break it up!! He didn't benefit as someone else pinched it from him, there was a massive scrap but the gulls won the biggest share!! He even had the cheek to kept tapping my knee afterwards asking for "more"!!!
