Nuts

Spotted this blip this morning in the market.  The stallholder described how the pigeons knocked nuts onto the cobbled ground and pecked repeatedly at the walnut shell until it split open and then ate the nut. She thought that with no scraps of food being strewn due to the holidays they had become very hungry.
