Naughty or Nice

We all slept late today, with nothing to rush for.  Another big breakfast was on the cards and the boys went for it.  I had a big bowl of fruit and was restrained on everything else.   To be honest I hadn’t slept well again, and am still feeling rough.  Just a cold, but it has sapped all my energy.  Once we had checked out we headed to see Grandma, who started talking about lunch.  We had to decline.  There has been far too much eating this weekend.

We popped into town to do a few errands for Grandma, and to get some fresh air.  When we got back she had made a big bowl of fruit salad, in lieu of lunch.  It went down very well.  All too soon, it was time to leave for the long drive home. 

The journey was uneventful, with around two thirds of it done in daylight.  Once we got home, we did very little.  Just pottered and watched some TV.  We were all quite weary and in need of early nights.

These dogs are in the garden of a house not too far from Grandma’s.  They always amuse me, and are usually attired for the season
