On Reflection

It seems strange that this Brisbane morning was so clear, fresh and bright while huge swathes of Australia burn and skies glow a frightening angry orange, or turn black in the daytime. Even areas not burning are afected by dangerous amounts of smoke, ash and burning embers.

How much worse will the situation get? If only the rainy season (which has failed thus far) would arrive.
