There be dragons
Rory's very keen on dragons these days, after a visit to Dubrovnik and various Game of Thrones locations. He's very proud of his Welsh dragon flag. I caught Dad waving at Rory as we left.
This is our last day in Inverness for a little while. We'll be back soon to do bits and pieces. Fred will be back sooner to see what to do about the leak in Bellfield. It's so annoying. However, he's feeling a bit more in control now he has a webcam trained on that wall. He should be able to see from London when and if the leak appears again and he can look at the weather conditions to see if they can shed light on what's going on. It appeared only once during our week there and for no apparent reason.
It was Fred's birthday today and we celebrated by consuming a great deal of cheese and meeting good friends. We met Paul at the Connage Dairy (a delicious cheese pantry) for lunch, then enjoyed Mum's macaroni cheese for dinner. Afterwards, we caught up with friends recently arrived from Glasgow. We should have gone to bed early due to the nonsense flight booked tomorrow, but we were convinced to drink Orcadian Moon liqueur, which is extremely more-ish, but which contains coffee. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep.
