A little winter colour

The hybrid Viburnum (V. farreri × V. grandiflorum) provides some welcome colour in the dark days of Winter.

The only interesting thing that I know about viburnums is that in ancient times, the long, straight shoots of some viburnums were used for arrow-shafts, including those found with Ötzi the Iceman.
