My road post Mega Storm

We have been without power for 88 hours. Also no water, no septic no wifi or phone. We were hit by a mega storm and the power went out at 7 am on the 31st. Power lines and trees fell on the highway so the roads were closed for 3 days as trees and lines were moved and the ploughs and sanders could get in. It took hydro 4 days to clean up and fix the lines. We finally got our power back at midnight last night. Now we have to deal with septic issues and rotten food but all is good! We have a fire place and a camp stove and a French press and tons of wine so we survived! We live in an amazing community where everyone helped each other. First line of business is a shower.... I’ll catch up on my blips later. We feel like pioneers!
