Sunrise, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

I woke up and saw a wee bit of colour in the sky, so dragged myself out of bed and out of the house. The sunrise wasn't spectacular but it was a beautiful morning, with all manner of birds along the shoreline, and certainly worth getting out of bed for.

While the photo isn't brilliant, I've included the 2nd extra as I've been practising new processing techniques and have enjoyed playing with the photo. It's far from perfect but I think I'm beginning to see the light!
