Internet is a weird thing eh?   

I'm still not 100% convinced about it. 

Today, however, it brought about the meeting of cousins, from Ayrshire, California and New York. 

First Cousins: share a grandparent. 

Second Cousins share a great-grandparent.  That's the one on the left, the one second from left (me), and the one second from right. 

Third Cousins share a great-great grandparent. 

Second Cousin once removed..... that's them with the beard, and the one third from the right.  .... are the son or daughter of a Second Cousin. 

The father of the lady on the left, was my Da's cousin.  - They had the same grandparents.      That lady, me and my sister are second cousins.   We have the same great Grandparents.... I think. 

pah ha

And the lady on the right - Me Ma, related by blood to me and and me sister, by marriage to everyone else..... but the one who plays with the internet most and finds people.
