Portobello but not as we know it! This familiar name was spotted in the Jewish Quarter of Krakow Old Town this afternoon - almost 1000 miles east of Edinburgh. Far colder than Scotland, but somehow feels warmer, due to the dryness of the continental air here. Direct flights from Edinburgh to this beautiful ancient Polish city are ridiculously cheap at this time of the year with two low cost carriers competing on this route. The flying time is under two and a half hours.
