My kind of twelve days of Christmas
Today was amazing! We awoke to blue skies, a frost and no breeze and chose to walk from home to Carradale Point. We couldn’t have asked for a finer, prettier outing which included the mist rolling in from the sea as a mini-cloud inversion. I said it could only be topped by seeing an otter...
Can you believe it? Two!
I’ve been creating our version of the Twelve Days of Christmas:
Twelve cormorants cruising,
Eleven gulls a gliding,
Ten lairds a leaping,
Nine coffees grinding,
Eight eiders idling,
Seven Kintyre days,
Six greylags grazing,
Five golden skies!
Four oyster catchers,
Three grey herons
Two otters
And a little egret on Carradale Point.
