Juhani Harri retrospective with Suhina Kollektiivi
Me, hubby and Peetu had a walk in the woods in Jasperinoja area. There was brisk wind and snowfall, but wind didn't reach us deep in the woods.
After lunch me and Emma went to the Sara Hilden Art Museum to see Juhani Harri retrospective. Today there was Suhina Kollektiivi group playing sound scene matching the atmosphere of Harri's works. It was an unique experience. In the photo is a detail of Juhani Harri's assemblage called The Hunter.
Juhani Harri (1939–2003) was a pioneer of assemblage art in Finland. His central aim was to portray time and its evanescent nature. His works share a mysterious and emotionally driven narration.
