Above Holme Wood

Despite threatening weather. we popped over to Loweswater today to take a walk around the far side of the lake and over Holme Wood. The weather was certainly brighter over there than it was further east in the Lakes. We stayed dry throughout the walk too.

I liked the way the foreground tree framed the one in the distance - and the shape of the distant tree with the wind blown top fitted the composition perfectly.
