Wedge tailed eagle harassed by magpies

Great trip to Kroombit tops with or daughter to see WWII Liberator Bomber B-24D Beautiful Betsy that crashed on 27 February 1945. Found by park ranger in July 1994.

Photo of Wedgie being harassed by magpies. Couldn't help but think of a Bomber being harassed by fighter planes. Two Wedgies dived in front of the car then up into the bush on the other side. The two magpies didn't take long to move them on with vicious swoops over their head. Amazing to see not one but two at close range.
