Tanah Merah

Staying in a lovely hotel, part of which was the officers quarters for the Royal Artillery built in 1880’s.

The fires continue to ravage Australia. Eden is under threat. This town will always be special place for us. When we first arrived in Australia (as the equivalent of backpackers)    
It was quite a difficult time but friends from Eden were so welcoming and kind it made a huge difference to our early time here, and probably one of the reasons we eventually came here for good.
