I think I have used an image of ths bird before - a partially albino Common Gull that has vbeen hanging around on Uist for several years now. Always a temptation to make it something else...
Off then on the midday ferry and driving down  to stay with Tricia's sister in Carlisle for the night. A mere seven hours.
