Baía de Gordon

This was the view of Gordon’s Bay from my room at the B&B. Or Baía de Gordon as my phone’s settings are still in Portuguese to instil the language within me. Whatever vernacular it’s said in, it’s a damned nice view.

I lazed around and Cindy the host lavished a nice breakfast upon me. I then revisited the Whale Coast Route with its spectacularly placed lay-bys, to soak up the scenery before I had to head back into the urban jungle. Back in Cape Town I successfully returned the car without any incidents (makes a change) and had a beer with Erin and Marc as we sat amongst the rock pools at sunset. It was such a great end to a bloody magnificent holiday.
