Nearly twelfth night

Thanks to our tree - a bit different this year as we were away for Christmas. Inspired by a Treshnish blip - I decided to photograph the treasured ornaments. Each has a story, many are special gifts, including three new ones this year.
We carefully wrapped the new ceramic baubles from M. She had wrapped them in bubble wrap and then reused a fairy lights box. For a few days I thought M had given us ‘warm fairy lights’ for Christmas (I love lights!) After arriving home I opened the box and discovered the delightful baubles.
As we wrapped some of them in tissue paper, we remembered doing this as youngsters. Happy memories...
