From little Acorns!

Visited Belvoir Forest Park this morning for a walk along one of the trails which follows the river Lagan and passes the remains of a Norman fortification. It is thought that the oldest Oak tree in Ireland resides here. Amazingly it has begun producing acorns again! Next week local school children will be involved in the process of planting them. That's what I call investing in the future! The forest is also home to some red squirrels and long eared owls. All in all a lovely morning.
