Winter Sunlight, Wickham Lane

The BBC weather forecast for today initially predicted a short spell of sunshine shortly after midday: when I looked at the forecast again this morning, that prediction had gone.

Imagine my delight when the sun duly appeared around the originally appointed time. The irony was, on a Sunday afternoon, a non-working day when I had plenty of time to travel about the countryside, the only spot where I stood any chance of catching the sunshine before it disappeared again was the familiar location of Wickham Lane, which I can generally fit in quite easily during the week, either before or after my work.
